FSD 58 – Post Differential Allowance
The Foreign Service Directives Committee has agreed to publish post rating level and special payment updates on a monthly basis effective October 1, 2012.

Notes:
1. The amount of post differential allowance shall be revised on the first of April each year in accordance with the methodology agreed to by the National Joint Council Committee on Foreign Service Directives, and published on the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade's website.
2. The post rating levels shall be amended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the recommendation of the appropriate foreign service interdepartmental co‑ordinating committee, as and when required.
3. Notwithstanding Section 107 of the Public Service Labour Relations Act, revisions to this Appendix shall not constitute a change in terms and conditions of employment for employees subject to the Foreign Service Directives.
