Government Travel Committee
The National Joint Council (NJC) is pleased to announce that the Executive Committee has accepted recommendations of the NJC Government Travel Committee to create a new NJC Relocation - IRP Directive incorporating the provisions of the Integrated Relocation Program into the NJC Relocation Directive.
The NJC Government Travel Committee includes representatives from Federal Public Service bargaining agents, the employer and departments.
The new NJC Relocation - IRP Directive comes into effect on April 1, 2003 and will be the sole relocation authority for all Public Service employees.
The text of the new Relocation Directive and a summary information package will be posted on the NJC Web site as soon as possible.
