Effective – October 1, 2005
In response to recent fuel price increases, as an interim measure, the National Joint Council Executive Committee has approved revised kilometric rates, effective October 1, 2005, for both the:
- Travel Directive – Appendix B – Kilometric rates (http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pubs_pol/hrpubs/TBM_113/b_e.asp); and
- Commuting Assistance Directive – Appendix A – Lower Kilometric Rates (http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/Pubs_pol/hrpubs/TBM_113/cad-datq1_e.as).
The National Joint Council will initiate another review of the kilometric rates in the near future. This may result in adjustment, upward or downward to the kilometric rate.
