The Union-Management Relations Committee reviews the organization of the NJC, recommends NJC training activities and provides planning and organization for union-management seminars.

Quarterly Report to the National Joint Council (December 2024)
Regular activities:
- The Committee has met once (1) since the last Council meeting.
- The Committee wishes to note the departure of Employer Side representatives, Irene Arkorful, from Treasury Board Secretariat and Louise Boudreau, from the Department of National Defense and to thank them for their contributions to the Board.
- The Committee welcomed a new Employer Side Representative, Isabella Tirelli, from Transport Canada.
- The Committee reviewed the results of the Seminar Evaluation Report 2024 which captured the results of the 2024 Seminar participants survey. Of the 109 participants, 36 people or 33% of participants completed the survey. Of these, 97% indicated they would recommend the Seminar to others. Key takeaways cited were a deeper understanding of inclusion, equity, diversity and accessibility; guidance on how to proceed on these issues; a better understanding of neurodiversity; and relationship building.
The Committee is awaiting direction from the Executive Committee on the planning of future seminars and events in support of the NJC’s mandate.
The Committee also established its meeting schedule for 2025.
