Appendix A – Maximum Loan Amount - Section 10.2

The April 1, 2017 adjustment of this allowance is not available at this time.

Effective April 1, 2016

In accordance with subsection 10.2.1 of this directive, the maximum amount of the posting loan, effective April 1, 2016, is $42,634 or up to 50 per cent of the employee's gross annual salary in effect at the time the loan is approved, whichever is the lesser.

Note:

The dollar amount shall be adjusted annually on April 1^st in accordance with the methodology agreed to by the National Joint Council Committee on Foreign Service Directives.
